She knows what needs to be done and just does it … even while she’s taking pictures. She makes it look easy!”
The photography was simply spectacular in its outcome. Timory has a wonderful, intuitive eye for seeing just the right pose or just the right spontaneous moment to perfectly capture not just image but feeling. She also had a great knowledge of the event location and the island environs, and chose just the right settings, backgrounds and locations for our group photos. We simply can’t imagine having better photographic reminders of our ceremony, dinner and family poses, and we will treasure the pictures forever.
It also has to be said that Timory is really a delight to work with – personable, warm and thoughtful, coupled with a gentle playfulness – and is one of those rare people who brings out the best in those she’s working with. She’s dedicated, committed and well-organized, and really went the extra distance for us at every turn. We couldn’t recommend her more highly.

Timory is extremely efficient and pays very close attention to detail, which all brides know is very important on the big day. Beside her in-depth professionalism she also played a coaching role (which was very welcomed) for the entire bridal party throughout the day, with her sweet nature and years of experience with weddings. She went above and beyond to keep all worries behind the scenes unknown to us so we could be at ease the whole time. Her photography is gorgeous. We love all the photos, especially the one of Russ kissing my shoulder … just magnificent! We cannot thank her enough for making our wedding day the happiest day ever!
Timory – we received the DVD last night, and we are so stoked on your work! We love the pictures! We chose Timory to be our wedding photographer. We flew over here 9 months ago … to interview some wedding coordinators. We met Timory, and right off the bat, we knew that she was the real deal. Let me tell you, 9 months later, the way this finished, she did more than what she had promised at the beginning. We love her! She took control. She took care of us, and with us coming to her island, she made us feel so welcome and so comfortable, so I would recommend Timory to anyone. You can’t go wrong! I hope you pick her!
Our wedding day was so wonderful. The photos of the wedding were absolutely amazing. They tell our whole wedding ceremony. We could not be happier! I used Timory McDonald and Aloha Ever After for my proposal to my partner in Kauai. Everything was planned and communicated perfectly via email as I had no cell service and was only able to use the hotel’s wi-fi. Mind you this was on the day that we landed from Sydney Australia so you can imagine how anxious I was. Joel and Caitlin from the team are also wonderful to deal with. The photos were uploaded onto a site and easy to download and clear instructions provided. I would highly recommend Aloha Ever After for anyone who needs any sort of photography done.
