What Is the Best Time of Year for a Beach Wedding on Kauai?
With pleasant weather year round (only varying by 15 degrees) and an average of 240 sunny or partly sunny days, it’s always the perfect time of year to get married in Kauai!
Summer and Winter Weather
High temperatures in the mid-80s with a mild breeze is the typical weather during summer months in Kauai.
During the winter months in Kauai the high temperature is in the mid-70s with short bursts of precipitation from November to March, mostly at night. After it rains, there are often beautiful rainbows within view!
Other Considerations
There are a few other considerations to keep in mind when deciding which time of year to plan your Kauai beach wedding.
- High season (mid-December to mid-April) is the busiest time of year. If your wedding date falls within that time frame, book flight, hotel, car, and tour reservations as soon as possible as they will fill up early.
- Low season (mid-April to June and September to mid-December) will give you the best bargain rates and fewer visitors.
- Golden Week (the last week in April to the first week in May) is particularly busy due to three Japanese holidays taking place during this time, which increases the number of tourists. Book early!
- Kauai has many fun and unique festivals that are celebrated throughout the year. Find one that coincides with your time on the island and it’ll be a great way to continue the celebration!
No matter what time of year you decide to have your beach wedding in Kauai, rest assured knowing you’ll experience tropical paradise.
